I need to discuss this/talk it out at length sometime, but cliffnotes for now: Michael Cera is now commonly publicly criticized for his minimal-dimensional performances. Do I or the public really want him to do anything else beyond adding nuance to George Michael Bluth? Can his persona age well? Isn't he our age? Will he just age into a much less than par and subdued version of silver screen Zach Galifianakis (obv. different from stand up)?...who is now really just a pawn for comic relief in movies filled with straight men (comedy-wise, not getting-busy-wise)...Ugh, will they make a movie together?
Anywho, he probably won't. He'll probably just keep on being a piss-stain awkward semi-lead character in awful indie-leaning popular films that have awful font styles, illustrations and animations involved. I will probably just accept it and ignore him like I do Katy Perry and Katie Holmes's love life. And I would rather he stick to this realm of character than try to pull a 180 in the style of Majestic or Truman Show.
Fuck, those weren't cliffnotes at all.
Regardless, I hope people keep posting these images because I really appreciate people criticizing this picture that shows the magical act of his on-screen life aligning perfectly with his real life. Dave Chappelle one is my fav, which I am sure you could have guessed.

BIG
That movie gets real creepy real fast. I was hoping it didn't go there, but it did and went well beyond it. Elizabeth Pervkins is more like it. Pedokins? Sounds like a Webkin gone wild.
I think I need to go back to school for media theory type stuff so that I can legitimize my interest in criticizing movies many years beyond their prime. And I vow to never turn into that lady at the video store who REALLY loves the Matrix.
